The TWI Virtual Academy, launched in January this year, makes studying for a TWI course more accessible and flexible than ever. Courses currently available cover non-destructive testing and welding inspection, with more programmes and modules set to be added throughout 2016.
The Destructive Testing module is taken from the CSWIP Welding Inspection courses, where it makes up part of the theory element. Students enrolled on the Virtual Academy site can access the eLearning modules of a course at their own convenience before attending one of TWI’s international training centres.
Now you can experience eLearning with TWI before committing to a course. The Destructive Testing demo provides an opportunity to discover the high quality and usability of TWI’s online training resources, with no obligation.
As well as forming part of TWI’s CSWIP-certified industry training courses, individual eLearning modules can also be selected and combined to create or add to bespoke, company-specific internal training courses.
Several companies, transversing different industry sectors, have already expressed an interest in including TWI eLearning modules within their staff training portfolios. As part of this service, TWI can create dedicated pages on its learner management system for any organisations wishing to benefit from its eLearning resources.
